—The classic favorite made for special occasions and festivities is prepared with fresh cashews each day. A delicate combination of cashews, sugar, saffron, and cardamom makes it smooth and melts in the mouth instantly. A perfect diamond shape made for gifting.
—Another favorite option is a round and syrup-filled ball made to make your festivals even sweeter. Gulab jamun is an everyday special for sweet lovers soaked in rose and sugar syrup with a pinch of cardamom for that heavenly bite.
—Then, comes the similar version made with light and soft paneer. White rasgulla are soaked in cardamom-infused sugar syrup and made with nuts along with paneer. Our Mishtaan is a speciality apart from being the most ordered item on the menu.
—For ones who love something light yet creamy, you can order rasmalai. Made with fresh paneer in the shape of dumplings and soaked in milk with a pinch of saffron.
—Ladoos are served in every celebration as a peaceful offering to God. They deserve a special place because of their colors and delicate balance of sweetness. Made with chickpea flour droplets and loaded with sugar syrup.
—With the creamy and rich texture, milk cake and kalakand make the occasion comforting yet sweet. The milk is thickened and added with sugar and cardamom to make these sweets. They might look alike but have their own regional touch to it.
—These special barfi are made with sun-dried figs, roasted nuts, and ghee added with brown sugar. For ones looking for something healthy and sweet with nutty richness.
—The flaky, light, and crispy soan papdi still rules our hearts. Made with gram flour, this sweet mysteriously disappears as everyone keeps asking for more.
—This made with pure khoya or thickened milk is stirred with sugar and cardamom and makes it perfect for every celebration as a little treat.
—A type of traditional North Indian sweet made with a crispy exterior and glazed sweetness. It’s the best sweet for ones trying Indian mithais for the first time because of its distinctive texture.

Had a really great experience with Mishtaan! If you’re looking for authentic Indian sweets in New Jersey, especially during festivals, this is definitely a place worth trying. The sweets tasted fresh, rich, and traditionally made, with a really good variety to choose from. We picked up a few different sweets for a family festival celebration, and everyone loved them. The presentation was also nice, which made them perfect for sharing with family and taking as gifts when visiting friends and relatives. It’s not always easy to find Indian mithai that gives you that proper traditional taste, but Mishtaan definitely gets it right. The quality and freshness really stood out, and the overall experience was great. Would happily recommend Mishtaan to anyone craving good Indian sweets in NJ. Definitely coming back for our next festival or family celebration!Posted on Google![]()

A bit of a long review we wrote it after ordering sweets 2-3 times.. We ordered a couple Mithai boxes from Mishtaan NJ for a family Ganesh Pooja and we were very impressed with both the quality and the variety of all the sweets. The presentation was so beautiful, and it was great because we gave a lot to our family during the Pooja. But I have to say that the real highlight was the taste. There was a great selection of traditional Indian mithai, including different varieties of kaju Burfi, rolls, etc. and the best Motichoor Ladoos I’ve ever had in NJ. Everything tasted really fresh and homemade. They have a bunch of healthy Anjeer and Coconut as well as low sugar sweets. But even the classic sweets weren’t excessively sweet, which was great, because a lot of other sweet shops in Edison or Jersey City put way too much sugar you can’t have more than 1 or 2. We almost ate a whole box in the car ride home itself. What we really liked was the freshness. The girl there said that they makes their sweets fresh in-house EVERYDAY, and that attention to detail and quality really makes a big difference. The flavours reminded us of the traditional mithai we used to get back home in India during the holidays. We'll definitely be getting all of our mithai from Mishtaan for Diwali and Dusshera this year. So if you're searching for fresh mithai, or authentic Indian sweets boxes in Harrison, New Jersey, Mishtaan is a really a great place to check out.Posted on Google![]()

Had a really satisfying and memorable South Indian meal at Mishtaan NJ, and honestly, it was such a great experience from start to finish! Everything we ordered looked incredibly fresh, was beautifully presented, and tasted absolutely delicious. The dosa was perfectly crisp on the outside while still being light and flavorful, and the idli was soft, fluffy, and freshly prepared. The chutneys were full of flavor, and the sambar had that comforting, authentic South Indian taste that makes the entire meal come together so nicely. Every bite felt fresh, well-balanced, and thoughtfully prepared. What I really enjoyed was the overall quality and freshness of the food. It had a wonderful homestyle feel, but at the same time, the presentation was neat and appealing. You can tell that attention is given not just to the taste but also to how the food is served. The combination of dosa, idli, chutneys, and sambar made for a wholesome and satisfying meal. And the little sweet treat on the side was such a lovely finishing touch! It was a small detail, but it made the experience feel even more special. Mishtaan NJ is definitely a place worth checking out if you’re looking for authentic Indian flavors, fresh South Indian food, delicious sweets, and a satisfying overall dining experience in New Jersey. Whether you’re craving a crispy dosa, soft idlis, flavorful sambar, or simply want to enjoy good Indian food, this place is definitely worth visiting. Overall, a wonderful experience with fresh food, authentic flavors, great presentation, and that comforting taste of Indian food. Looking forward to trying more dishes from their menu on my next visit!Posted on Google![]()
